Dr Lisa Juckes

Dr Lisa Juckes holds specialist qualifications in General, Adult and Addictions Psychiatry. She
completed her specialist training in 2005 through the Royal Australian and New Zealand
College of Psychiatrists. She is interested in helping people of all backgrounds from youth to
old age with mental health and addiction and other drug and/or alcohol issues.
Dr Juckes has accumulated experience with group as well as individual therapy, in a number
of modalities. She is committed to helping people flourish, through restoring their
autonomy and encouraging growth and improved overall wellbeing.

 

Dr Juckes has worked in public sector, NGO and private mental health / AOD settings in
metropolitan as well as regional centres, and has been involved for many years in advocacy
and other work through the RANZCP college Committees of the Faculty of Addiction
Psychiatry, and the Section of Youth Mental Health. Dr Juckes is involved in course
coordination and development for postgraduate training, as well as teaching. She has been
an invited speaker at workshops, symposia, conferences and other meetings over many
years. She is also keen to find ways to support other health care workers to help their
clients, by sharing specialist knowledge and experience.

Dr Juckes is no longer working in private practice. Your health file will continue to be stored securely, however with your (written) permission, can be accessed for clinical information sharing with another doctor of your nomination, even after Dr Juckes has finished at this practice, by contacting us by phone or email.
